Imagine...
As you are watching television, there is a program break. Before you can leave the room, you are captivated by a crystalline cascade of chimes blending with the sound of ocean waves. Your attention is drawn back to the television, where you see a tropical blue ocean flood the screen. Dolphins move within the ocean waves. As you watch, your heart is soothed by golden light dancing on the water, the rhythmic caress of the music, and the ease and ecstasy with which the dolphins play. While you drink in these images, there is an exhilarating surge in the music. You see one dolphin leap from the water and fly high into the air, looking directly at you. You hear a voice whisper...

"The heart accepts as real what the mind has yet to dream of.
Listen to your heart."

Imagine...
You are driving on the freeway in heavy traffic. A billboard catches your eye. It offers you the simple invitation:

"What if forgiveness was almost instant?"

Imagine...
You are tuning your car radio to a new station. Suddenly your hand stops as you hear the voices of children reciting words as though they are saying a prayer:

"Right now, somebody is very proud of you... somebody is thinking of you... Somebody is caring about you... Right now, somebody misses you... somebody wants to be with you... somebody loves you..."

As the children's reading continues, in the background a woman's voice reminds you:

"If we take time to look, there is so much to be grateful for."

Imagine...
During a television program break, a deep stillness emerges. The viewer is presented with 60 seconds that elicit feelings of forgiveness. What does it feel like to forgive? What happens inside of you when you do?

"I forgave
And I felt a part of me rise up and fly
Like something the universe hadn't yet invented."

Imagine...
You are walking along a forest path enjoying a warm summer day. All around you the beauty of nature is flourishing. As you hear the birds singing you come upon a magnificent waterfall. Gazing into a sparkling pool at its base, you are mesmerized by the ripples on the water. A vision of an ancient Indian face is formed from the light reflecting on the water. As you are drawn into the wisdom in his eyes, you hear a deep, loving voice say these words:

"I call now to my human family regardless of the color of your skin. Place your feet upon the earth and open your heart to the songs of the universe. Dance the dance of the future. Dance the dance of peace and harmony."

Imagine...
Sitting in the presence of newborn babies, it seems as though you can hear them speaking:

"I have come to the Earth, bringing treasures of beauty and wonder."
"I have come to speak of the power of innocence."
"I have come to remind you of the importance of compassion and simplicity."
"I have come to inspire you to be more joyful."
"I have come to help build the world of the future."

(Although the imagery is of very young children, the voice-over will be done by girls and boys ages 8 to 18, reflecting a wide variety of cultural heritages and intonation styles.)

Then you hear all of the children's voices together:

"We have come to love and be loved. We have come to open the door to a new world, where children will no longer be born into suffering and where harmony will bring everyone the quality of life they deserve."

Imagine...
You are looking at a lovely purple orchid as a hummingbird appears and begins to draw nourishment from the flower's nectar. Against a background of the soft, natural sounds of the forest, you hear a female voice full of love and compassion, saying:

"I feed the hungry of the world from the abundance of my essence."

(The camera pulls back and our view expands to include the deep green forest and the shimmering lake directly surrounding the orchid.)

The reassuring voice continues. . .

"By providing each life form with a purpose and a place, I create and sustain the whole."

(The camera continues to pull back, expanding our view to include a larger landmass, then the entire continent surrounded by the oceans, and finally, the entire planet. As you watch the spinning Earth it begins to radiate a soft glow, transforming its complexity into a single creation of beauty and wonder set against the deep blue night sky.)

The voice continues. . .

"The Earth is created with great diversity, formed of mountains that have stood for millions of years, and adorned with flowers that often last only a few days. Throughout this grand diversity there is a common voice asking for respect for all life. Care for the Earth with all of its wonders; it belongs to all of us."

Imagine...
that slowly, out of the cacophony of everyday living, there arises a new and very different voice, one that speaks to the highest common good and appeals to the deepest common understanding; a voice that clarifies the mind, touches the heart and stirs the spirit.
