By fall of 1998, FGA began recruiting staff and consultants for FFGA. Priorities in developing the prototype project center included:
- TO DEVELOP A STAFF OF INDIVIDUALS who understand and can implement the specific work we had defined
- TO DEVELOP A FEW PIVOTAL MODEL INITIATIVES that would offer strategic leverage points for the new organization
- TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS with other spiritual and social visionaries
- TO PIONEER NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES and processes which would permit the sustainability of this work
- TO ACCOMPLISH LANDMARK RESEARCH Research of public beliefs which would place spiritual awakening clearly on a national agenda
- TO CREATE A UNIQUE MASS MEDIA CAMPAIGN on the theme of forgiveness and reconciliation, around which a community of business and non-profit supporters could be developed
- TO BEGIN A MODEL CHILDREN'S PROGRAM aimed at allowing the spiritual expression of young people to be communicated in creative and healing ways
- TO COMPLETE A STRATEGIC PLAN for a vast Internet presence to serve the growth of all the new consciousness work in the world and its meaningful connection with broader society
- TO LAUNCH A FUNDING AND RESOURCING CENTER which could provide the necessary support and sustainability to those people and organizations who are called to do various work aligned with the spiritual awakening of humanity worldwide
Within the span of three years, nearly all of this has been accomplished. It is now time to focus on the larger funding and resourcing center, which will deliberately aid the growing number of spiritually inspired individuals and projects worldwide.
FFGA also makes small-scale advanced development grants to projects started by people outside the organization.
These projects now need to be taken to greater levels of service for larger numbers of people through partnership with other organizations.
